LOGSTOR SolarPipe is a preinsulated solar heating pipe system that enables you to get the most out of any commercial solar thermal installation. The service pipe, the insulation and the rigid outer casing are manufactured as one integrated unit; ensuring a quality product that gives a considerably extended service life without the need for scheduled maintenance.

The LOGSTOR SolarPipe system makes it possible to transfer solar heated water over considerable distances with virtually any energy loss. And the system remains just as effective at retaining heat throughout its entire service life. The key to this outstanding performance is the unique insulation made of Zero-GWP, Zero-ODP, CFC-free polyurethane foam that completely encloses the service pipe. This provides a consistently dense layer of supremely effective thermal protection, therefore keeping any heat loss to the absolute minimum.

The LOGSTOR SolarPipe PE-HD outer casing is designed to cope with the effects of ultra-violet light, weather and climate and installation surroundings, as well as normal wear and tear.

LOGSTOR SolarPipe pipes are available in 5-metre lengths, with a 22mm, 28mm, 35mm, 42mm or 54mm copper service pipe inside insulation and a rigid casing. Larger diameter pipes are available by special order.

The LOGSTOR SolarPipe service pipe sections are best joined using press-fit couplings. The short casing sections used to insulate around these joints consist of open half-shells and a shrinkable collar. This collar is heated and shrunk around the insulation shells to make a weatherproof and waterproof finish.

LOGSTOR SolarPipe can be used with any make and model of flat plate or vacuum tube solar collectors, on any kind of building. Planning and costing an installation project is simple as only a few components are needed to deal with the entire range of pipe sizes and fitting specifications. Fitting the pipe system is fast and easy, requiring minimum manpower, with no special skills.
